Sorbothane is widely regarded as one of the most effective audio isolation materials and is extremely good at reducing vibrations.
Easy to use and can be rotated so that either the flat face can be upward or downward facing. ALL audio equipment can be affected by unwanted vibrations and Turntables, CD players, solid state amplifiers, valve amplifiers, DAC's etc will all benefit from good isolation!
These are approximately 30mm in diameter and 15mm high with a shore hardness hardness of 70 which which will provide effective support between 6.8kg and 9.9kg so a pack of four hemispheres will support up to 39kg with a 25 to 30% deflection when statically loaded.
We would always advise using our Disc Protectors on any surface but particularly on any carpeted surfaces. The discs should sit between the sorbothane hemisphere and the carpet.
